Organisations based in the North Sea Region may apply.
However, Norwegian funding is not available for calls 2 and 3, so Norwegian organisations cannot join projects as partners in these calls. Learn more
In Call 2, you may apply for two types of projects:
Small-scale project
Small-scale projects have a shorter duration, smaller budget, and smaller partnerships than the regular projects. They also offer simplified procedures.
The application for small-scale projects is simplified and always happens in one step.
Regular project
If you wish to apply for a regular project, Call 2 allows you to choose between the following two options:
- Expressions of interest (EoI).
- Full application.
Note: While the application process for regular projects is designed to include two steps, you may choose to skip the expression of interest and move directly to a full application in Call 2, if you feel confident enough to do so.
The opening and closing dates are the same for all three types of application:
Opening date: 1 August 2022
Closing date: 14 November 2022 at 17.00 CET.

Expression of interest for a regular project
Please make sure to consult your National Contact Point or one of our project advisors before you submit your application. Each project advisor is dedicated to one or two priorities, as indicated below.
Deadline for advice by the secretariat: Please note that the secretariat cannot offer content-related advice on your application after Friday, 21 October. However, you can still consult the National Contact Points on content up to the submission deadline. You can also continue to ask the secretariat for technical assistance through 14 November.
