Moving from fossil to green energy is key to stabilising the world's climate and preventing worst-case scenarios from happening in the future. And renewable energy is key to reaching energy independence and security. Time is of the essence - the shift needs to happen fast.  

The North Sea Region is uniquely placed to pave the way and accelerate the transition. All seven Interreg North Sea countries appear in the top 20 of the Global Energy Transition Index 2021. Sweden, Norway and Denmark top the list, while France is one of only two major world economies to rank in the top 10 list. o2  X12
